Care Instructions for scarves and plaids:
We have to admit it, it is a job to maintain the extreme softness and airiness of our alpaca products. This is what you can do:
Wash in the machine by hand or in a delicate wash program at a maximum of 30 degrees. Drying in the air and possibly 10 minutes in the dryer at a low temperature to get the maximum airiness back.
Steaming is also a recommended option.
Finally, for perfection: brush with a soft, fine-haired brush in the direction of the alpaca hair. Then iron at a low temperature (max 110 degrees) in the same direction.
Care Instruction Hats:
In case of a stain, steam your hat over hot steam (for example using a kettle) and brush over the stain with a soft brush until it disappears.
In case of a dent or an unevenness in the form, keep your hat over hot steam for a few seconds. Remove the hat above the steam and use your hands to re-shape the hat. Move repeatedly over the dent or unevenness.
Perhaps superfluous to say, but be careful when dealing with hot steam.
